PNM 2021 will be a hybrid event, comprising both an in-person and a virtual congress. The congress will still be held over 12 – 14 April at Alere, Flinders University. Going hybrid will allow people who, for a variety of reasons, will not be able to join the in-person congress in Adelaide.

Virtual delegates will be able to join the online sessions at scheduled times, while still being able to pose questions and interact with the presenters. Recorded sessions will also be available on demand post congress.

A MESSAGE FROM THE CONFERENCE CHAIRS

PNM 2021 will be the first ever pediatric focused meeting in Pediatric Neurogastroenterology and Motility. The meeting aims to be truly multi and interdisciplinary involving professionals, drawn from across multiple specialties, involved in the care of children suffering from gastrointestinal and nutritional conditions specifically with so-called gastrointestinal functional and motility disorders. The meeting offers an exceptional chance to present latest research in pediatric neurogastroenterology and facilitate discussion and interaction with active researchers and clinical colleagues from across the globe.

PNM 2021 will be held at Alere, Flinders University, located 20 minutes from the City of Adelaide. Adelaide is home to one of the largest health and medical research precincts in the Southern Hemisphere. Adelaide is famous for its outstanding wine, food and arts culture. The City of Adelaide is located about 15 kilometres from pristine beaches of popular summer tourist destinations, with the time of year providing the ideal climate to enjoy the meetings and the attractions that Adelaide has to offer.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

We welcome the submission of abstracts in all areas related to basic, clinical and translational aspects of paediatric neurogastroenterology and motility. The following sections provide guidelines for the preparation and submission of abstracts, as well as details about available awards and application criteria.

YOUNG INVESTOR GRANTS

PNM 2020 is committed to promoting paediatric neurogastroenterology and motility research and clinical practice, for early career researchers. Therefore, young members are encouraged to participate in the PNM 2020 Conference, as well as the present their research work.

PNM 2020 are pleased to announce that grants will be made available to Young Investigators who attend PNM 2020 and present an accepted paper.

This includes nurses and allied health professionals attending the meeting (e.g. dieticians, SALTs etc) PNM 2020 is committed to supporting all young investigator scientists, nurses and allied health professionals (e.g. dieticians , SALTS etc) submitting abstracts, who are encouraged to apply by ticking the corresponding box during submission of their abstract. The nominee must be first author on the accepted abstract submitted, graduate student/resident/fellow /nurse / allied health professional, and no older than 35 years of age. The evaluation will be done by the respective committee.

The Young Investigator Grant recipients will be informed at the time of abstract acceptance notification.

Registration Inclusions
Standard Registration Inclusions: Fees include attendance to all congress sessions from 12-13 April 2021, tea breaks and lunches for the duration of the congress, a ticket to the Welcome to Adelaide BBQ, a ticket to the Farewell Drinks & Awards, and exclusive congress materials and lanyard.
Virtual Registration Inclusions: Fees include virtual access to all congress sessions from 12 – 13 April 2021.
Payment
Payment must accompany all registrations and may be made by:
Credit card: Debits to your credit card will appear as ‘All Occasions Management’ on your statement.
Accounts paid by credit card will incur a surcharge fee of 1.25% for MasterCard, 1.65% for VISA, 3.03% for American Express and 3.45% for Diners Club International. All transactions made online will incur a non-refundable $4.80 web processing fee. If the ‘Pay Later’ option is selected, an additional $15.00 invoice administration fee will be added to your invoice.
Registration Cancellation Policy
Any changes to registrations will need to be emailed to All Occasions Group, .
Registration cancellations must be sent in writing, faxed or emailed, to All Occasions Group.
Registration cancellations received up to 30 days prior to the congress will receive a full refund, less a $120.00 cancellation fee.
Registration cancellations received less than 30 days and up to 7 days prior to the congress will receive a 50% refund.
No refunds will be given for registration cancellations received within 7 days of the congress; however a substitute delegate may be nominated.
Refunds from any deposits forwarded to hotels, tour companies or other related business will be at the discretion of the supplier.
By completing and submitting the registration form, you are indicating your intention to attend the Congress and you will be liable for a cancellation fee if you are unable to attend. All registration related cancellations and amendments must be sent in writing to .
Liability/Insurance
In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters the congress organising committee, associated organisations & individuals, and All Occasions Group cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by the delegates. Nor can the congress organising committee, associated organisations & individuals, and All Occasions Group take responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the congress. All insurance including medical cover and for expenses incurred in the event of the cancellation of the congress is the individual delegate’s responsibility. The policy should include loss of fees/deposits through cancellation of your participation in the congress, or through the cancellation of the congress itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The congress secretariat will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure.
Privacy Policy
The All Occasions Group complies with all legislation which is designed to protect the rights of the individual to privacy of their information, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). All information collected with respect to your registration for participation in this conference will only be used for the purposes of planning, conduct of the event or communication regarding future events.
These details may be made available to parties directly related to the congress including but not limited to the All Occasions Group, venues, accommodation and travel providers (for the purposes of room/ travel bookings and conference options), key sponsors (subject to strict conditions) and other related parties as deemed necessary.
It is proposed to produce a ‘Delegate List’ of attendees at the congress and to include the individual’s details in such a list. By completing registration online form, you acknowledge that the details supplied by you may be used for the above purposes. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information provided to the All Occasions Group is accurate and kept up to date.
